Since Crystal was out of town on 10/28, I had planned on going out with my offload trailer, but things didn't work out and I didn't have all my gear ready.  Instead I stayed here and decided to go find some old bridges in Cooke County near Gainesville and Muenster, TX.  I loaded up the GPS with some waypoints/tracks and headed out just after 12 noon on Saturday.  I didn't get in a hurry and the first part of the afternoon was full of backroads and seeing parts of Grayson County that I hadn't seen. After I got to State Hwy 82 just West of Sherman, I decided what the heck, lets go find some of those old bridges I had waypoints for in Cooke County.  Man I am glad I did.  I found a few of the old bridges I was looking for and some that I wasn't even aware of.  Here are some of the pics that I took.  If you are wanting the GPS Track of this run, go to our GPS Trails and Maps section of our forum.

This old timer needs some TLC......

Found this old bridge when chasing another one..........

The last one for the day.  This one was off of CR398 near Era, TX.

Since it was getting dark, I made a beeline for Era, TX and picked up State Hwy 51 NorthEast back towards Gainesville and then back on home.  Heck of a way to spend the day.
